Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accountant to join our team and support our financial operations.

The Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal policies.

This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities

  1. Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and reconciliations.
  2. Prepare accurate financial statements, management reports, and regulatory filings.
  3. Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and expense tracking to support business decisions.
  4. Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  5. Support audits and liaise with external auditors, tax authorities, and regulators.
  6. Work closely with other departments to provide financial insights that support investment and operational strategies.

Requirements

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  2. A professional qualification (ICAN, ACCA, ACA, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
  3. 5–7years’ experience in accounting, preferably within the financial services or asset management industry.
  4. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and regulatory requirements.
  5. Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  6. Excellent analytical, organisational, and communication skills.

Salary
N6,000,000 – N7,500,000 per year.
