Job Description
Salary: N250,000 monthly
Location: Lagos
Job Type: Full-Time
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure proper documentation of all transactions.
- Invoice customers promptly for product liftings and follow up for timely payment collection.
- Manage customer accounts, including monthly reconciliation and signed statements of account.
- Prepare monthly payroll and ensure compliance with statutory deductions (PAYE, VAT, Withholding Tax, etc.).
- Support the Finance Manager in profitability analysis, cost control, and cash flow management.
- Ensure timely remittance of all statutory payments and taxes.
- Update key financial reports, including sales figures, collection details, and credit control.
- Coordinate periodic stock-taking and reconcile with financial records
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years accounting experience (oil marketing or audit firm preferred).
- Proficient in accounting software and Excel.
- Knowledge of tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, WHT, etc.).
- Basic understanding of the Petroleum retail business.
- Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
- High integrity and ability to work independently under pressure.
