Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive, tech-savvy individual to manage digital customer interactions, oversee website and POS system performance, and assist with online product sourcing and procurement. You will serve as the first point of contact for customers on platforms like WhatsApp and Instagram, while also handling backend tasks that keep the business running smoothly.

Responsibilities

Customer Support & Engagement
Respond to messages and inquiries on WhatsApp, Instagram, and other social platforms in a timely, professional manner
• Follow up with customers on orders, complaints, or product inquiries
• Provide personalised product recommendations and updates
• Keep chat scripts and FAQs up to date

Website Monitoring & Maintenance
• Regularly check the website for bugs, broken links, or outdated content
• Upload or update product listings, descriptions, and prices
• Collaborate with developers or platforms (like Shopify, WordPress, etc.) to solve technical issues
• Ensure smooth user experience and mobile responsiveness

POS Software Monitoring
• Monitor transactions and activity on POS systems (online or physical store)
• Report issues and follow up on system downtime or payment errors
• Update inventory records based on sales and orders

Product Sourcing & Ordering
• Source new products from online platforms (local and international)
• Compare suppliers for quality, pricing, and shipping
• Place orders and track deliveries
• Maintain a sourcing spreadsheet and an inventory tracking sheet
Maintain customer database
Raising order invoices from the system
Updating price list via Excel sheet
Build a relationship with new and existing customers

Job Requirements

  • Strong written communication (English proficiency required)
  • Tech-savvy, familiar with WhatsApp Business, Instagram, email tools, etc.
  • Experience managing or editing websites (Shopify, WordPress, Wix, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of POS or inventory systems
  • Familiar with online marketplaces (e.g. Alibaba, Jumia, Amazon, Aliexpress)

  • Good multitasking ability
  • Trustworthy and able to handle sensitive business information
